I've been photographing again. It feels so good to get back into the habit of staring at bees through my macro filter (I'm too cheap to get an actual macro lens). I wish I could do some more serious photographing of people (aka friends) but our collective inability to plan events has gotten in the way. Thus I'm stuck with whatever plants and insects I can find in my back yard.

I have discovered I cannot photograph flowers. Something about them, me, and the damned wind equals to horrible, horrible pictures. I think it's mostly mine and the wind's faults though. I'm studying the popular macro nature photos here on dA and trying to figure out what, compositionally, makes them better than mine. Having photoshop skillz is definitely one of them. I think I'm starting to figure out some of the techniques and whatnot though...

I'm also cleaning out many of my older artworks. Yay?
